Are you looking for a team-bonding experience? A great workout? Or an active way to support PCA’s development of Better Athletes, Better People? If so, the STADIUM STAMPEDE is your opportunity.
On Thursday August 10th from 6-8 pm, Positive Coaching Alliance, will host the STADIUM STAMPEDE at Harvard Stadium. The STAMPEDE will take “sweat for good” to another level. It’s a stadium workout with great music, fun people, and cool t-shirts at the world’s greatest stair-climbing venue—Harvard Stadium. All are welcome whether you choose to run, jump or walk 1, 2, 10 or all 37 sections of the stadium.
This is a fundraiser for PCA, but fundraising beyond the entry fee is completely optional. For those of you who choose to fundraise, you should know that PCA is a national nonprofit committed to developing Better Athletes, Better People through sports done right. PCA combines the best practices of top coaches and sports psychologists, like Brad Stevens, Jerry York, and Carol Dweck in its workshops and resources to help coaches, parents, leaders, and student-athletes develop a positive youth sports culture that values competition and develops character – grit, discipline, sacrifice, collaboration, resilience, and more. Some of that character will help anyone who takes on the stadium.
Participating in the STAMPEDE will help PCA by raising awareness of its work and by raising the funds it needs to bring impactful workshops and resources to more young athletes in New England. Participants can:
