Positive Coaching Alliance to Host Sports Done Right Summit Focused on Expanding Access in Youth Sports

OAKLAND, California – Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), the national nonprofit dedicated to unlocking the life-changing power of sports for all kids, will convene leading voices from across youth sports, education, philanthropy, media, and professional athletics at its Sports Done Right Summit on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the Oakland Marriott City Center. Held in partnership with the San Francisco 49ers Foundation the week of Super Bowl LX, the one-day Summit will bring local and national leaders together to focus on expanding access, strengthening community-based leadership, and advancing positive, equitable youth sports experiences.
Running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Summit will gather senior leaders, practitioners, and innovators who are shaping the future of youth sports by overcoming barriers to participation, sharing proven strategies, and building sustainable pathways for youth engagement in sports nationwide.
Confirmed attendees represent a powerful cross-section of national organizations influencing youth sports policy, funding, media, and on-the-ground practice. Participants include leaders from Laureus Sport for Good Foundation; AMB Sports + Entertainment; Aspen Institute Sports & Society Program; Bay Area Host Committee, Boys & Girls Clubs of America; Common Sense Media; Eat. Learn. Play. Designed for youth sports leaders, grassroots organizers, and coaches from across the country, the Sports Done Right Summit will feature keynote conversations, dynamic panel discussions, and interactive working sessions focused on breaking down barriers to participation, scaling proven strategies, and translating research and best practices into action. Attendees will leave with practical tools, tested strategies, and stronger cross-sector connections to help expand opportunities for kids in their own communities.
