Your privacy is important to Positive Coaching Alliance. This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that Positive Coaching Alliance collects, and the ways in which Positive Coaching Alliance uses that personal information.
Data We Collect
Our site’s donations, registrations, contact forms, and online surveys may also request or require users to give us personally identifiable information (like your name, telephone number, home address and e-mail address). We may use the information from our donations form, registration form, and surveys to contact the user, but users may opt-out of receiving future mailings. All payment information (i.e. credit card number, exp date, CVV, billing address), is stored by our Payment provider (Stripe).
PCA collects two types of user information. We collect some non-personally identifiable information automatically and some from our registration forms. Non-personally identifiable information might include your IP address, your browser type or operating system, the domain name from which you linked to our site, your zip code, your birth year, and other general demographic information, including Gender Identity, Ethnicity, and Sports involved with. Gender and Ethnicity include options to Decline to State. We use this non-personally identifiable information to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our website; and to help us improve our services by gaining a better understanding of the population we serve. We only collect First Name, Last Name, Email address to send notifications, reminders to registrants and any post workshop communications, including completion certificates, additional resources, and surveys connected to the workshop you attend.
Using Personal Information
PCA will not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information without advance permission unless otherwise ordered by a court of law. All personal information collected is used solely to contact you in regard to our services.
Where Positive Coaching Alliance discloses your personal information to its agents or sub-contractors for these purposes, the agent or sub-contractor in question will be obligated to use that personal information in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement.
Securing your data
Positive Coaching Alliance will take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. Positive Coaching Alliance will store all the personal information you provide on its secure servers. PCA stores data in both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Salesforce. Security compliance for AWS can be referenced at https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/ and for Salesforce at https://compliance.salesforce.com/en. Information relating to electronic transactions entered via this website will be protected by encryption technology.
Cross-border Data Transfers
Information that Positive Coaching Alliance collects may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which Positive Coaching Alliance operates to enable the use of the information in accordance with this privacy policy.
In addition, personal information that you submit for publication on the website will be published on the internet and may be available around the world.
You agree to such cross-border transfers of personal information.
Updating This Statement
Positive Coaching Alliance may update this privacy policy by posting a new version on this website.
