PCA at the LA84 Foundation Play Equity Summit

PCA was thrilled to be part of the LA84 Foundation Play Equity Summit last week! More than 600 leaders from across the nation, dedicated to ensuring Play Equity for all children, gathered to educate, mobilize, and collaborate on this vital cause.

Our CEO, Janet Carter, shared insights on the “True Power of a Coach” panel, emphasizing the profound influence of coaching on youth sports. Additionally, our Chief Community Impact Officer, Robert Marcus, contributed to the “Movement Building: Achieving America’s Promise of Justice for All” panel.

We extend our gratitude to Renata Simril and the entire team at the LA84 Foundation and the Play Equity Fund for their outstanding leadership in organizing an event that not only addressed the Play Equity gap but also celebrated community-driven solutions.

We eagerly anticipate leveraging the momentum generated by this summit to ensure that every child has access to sports, play, and movement, turning aspiration into reality.
