Todd Church is presently the Assistant Coach to his daughter Alyssa Martineau (Church) at Elyria High School in the girls soccer program. The bulk of his coaching (2005-2021) has been with Strongsville High School Girls Soccer program in Strongsville, Ohio. He spent nine years as an assistant in the program and during that time the program made four appearances in the Ohio Division one state title game with the team winning two. Todd then took over as head coach of the Mustangs for the last eight years. During his time as head coach the team appeared in two state title games winning one in 2020. The 2020 was the first unbeaten, untied state champion in school history and was declared National Champions by Top Drawer Soccer. Coach Church also has extensive experience coaching at the youth level within the community game and club game. Prior to Strongsville Todd spent three years at Elyria High School on the boys soccer side as an assistant and as head coach in 2004. Todd is a multi-time “Greater Cleveland Conference Coach Of The Year” recipient and in 2020 was a coach of the West Team in the High School All American game in St. Louis.
Todd graduated from Ashland University with a bachelor in science education degree and teaches seventh grade in Elyria. He and his wife, Dawn, have two daughters and reside in Sheffield Village, Ohio.
