Rich Tenney understands that positive coaching is key in helping athletes experience the critical pivot points in life that lead to both success on and off the field. Rich is a former high school 4 sport athlete in basketball, football, soccer and track. During these formative years Rich developed a passion for understanding human performance that led him to earn his doctoral degree in physical therapy from Elon University, NC in 2006. He trained at Duke University’s Sports Rehab clinic, giving him the opportunity to train both professional, college, and high school athletes. Rich is an internationally published researcher, author, and human performance specialist. Rich loves giving back to the sports community that positively shaped his life by coaching youth football, soccer, and basketball and by mentoring the community’s high school athletes as a sports performance consultant and motivational speaker.
