Kristi Yamaoka

Kristi joined PCA in 2018 in the role of the Out-of-Territory Partnership Manager working with PCA’s at-large and international partnerships. She is currently the Partnership Manager for PCA’s Midwest region and is responsible for prospecting, developing, and managing partnerships throughout the Midwest.
Kristi received her Bachelors of Social Work from Grand Valley State University and has always had a passion for working with underserved populations, beginning her career working in foster care and higher education. She was introduced to PCA while completing her Master’s degree in Sports Administration and Management at Northwestern University and is passionate about using sports as a vehicle for positive youth development.
Kristi was a multi-sport athlete playing anything that involved a ball and eventually focused on soccer and golf. She played collegiate golf for one year and after college led an after-school golf program in Orange County, CA. When not at work, Kristi is an avid traveler and enjoys being outside, playing cards, reading, playing golf and tennis, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.
