UNFORTUNATELY, YOUTH SPORTS ARE OFTEN NOT DONE RIGHT

  • Many kids do not have a coach who is trained.
  • The playing field is not level – youth living in low-income communities are only half as likely to participate in sports.
  • Many coaches, parents, youth sports administrators, and community leaders don’t know how to create a positive youth sports culture.
Our Efforts

OUR IMPACT OVER THE NEXT FIVE YEARS

  • Over 7 million young people will learn essential life skills.
  • The sports equity gap will be narrowed with more youth of color and kids from low-income neighborhoods participating in youth sports.
  • There will be nearly half a million more trained coaches.
