2024 Winner, PCA Coach of the Year presented by TeamSnap, Marques Lowe!
02.06.24
We are thrilled to recognize Marques Lowe from the Vipers Track Club in Champaign/Kankakee, Illinois for the incredible impact he is making in these communities through his track club.
Based on his own experience, Coach Lowe knows the positive impact sports can have on a life. Through his Vipers Track Club, he is teaching youth in two communities important life skills that will help them succeed not only on the track but also in school and life. The Vipers Track Club is a sports program that has a focus bigger than just winning and athletics, and Coach Lowe feels it is his responsibility to extend his hand to others in the hope that his assistance will be the spark that guides their future endeavors.
Coach Lowe provides leadership, vision, inspiration, passion, dedication, and mental toughness to every athlete involved in the Vipers. He pushes athletes to become student-athletes first and teaches them that to get work done on the track; you first must learn to get the job done and succeed in the classroom. The effort he puts into making a positive impact has taken some of the community’s most underserved and challenged youth from a path of destruction and despair to a reality where their future holds possibilities they never even knew existed.
