PCA Updates
Tornado warnings and torrential rain gave way to warm tropical air just in time for nearly 200 people to run, walk or jog the bleachers and celebrate sports done right at our STADIUM STAMPEDE at FENWAY, presented by Point32Health, on Thursday, August 19th.
It was a beautiful and fun evening at Fenway. Grit, resilience, compassion, teamwork, joy and more were on display in the bleachers, and on the scoreboards at Fenway. We started with a warm welcome celebrating PCA champions. 3X Olympian, Silver Medalist, and 10X Head of the Charles champion Dr. Gevvie Stone. Two championship Boston teams, the NWHL Boston Pride and the WFA Boston Renegades. Our Triple-Impact Competitor® Finalists, rising high school seniors who exemplify the character built through sports. Next up, was a rousing, high energy warm-up with B/SPOKE, followed by laps up, down, and around the bleachers.
Energy, enthusiasm and positivity reigned as Fenway’s scoreboards glowed with character banners, sponsor logos, and the names of PCA champions.

After sweating for good in the bleachers, the celebration continued with prizes, awards, and refreshments, thanks to the support of Alex. Brown, Salesforce, and Sam Adams. We recognized winners in our Grit, Largest Team, and Team Spirit competitions.

That’s our mission. And, we were glad to share it with people who know and value the power of sports to shape who we are as athletes, and more importantly, as people.
