“On the field,” Ryan has nearly 20 years of executive leadership and management experience, with a reputation for building high-performance teams who deliver innovative solutions to meet complex business challenges. In his role at Stoel Rives LLP, Ryan leads change in how the law firm operates and delivers value to clients, along with managing teams dedicated to technology & information management, legal project management, staffing & pricing alternatives, process improvement, and knowledge & research services.
“Off the field,” Ryan stays actively involved in a number of organizations that support his personal, moral philosophy of service towards others, along with the development of leadership and teamwork skills, and a specific focus on sports as a platform for the development of these traits in our youth. He coaches youth sports teams, aids sports boosters in his community, and also serves on several advisory boards, lending his experience and knowledge to the benefit of not-for-profit and for-profit corporations alike. Ryan is a husband and father to 5 children, who - along with their own personal pursuits - share in his love of God, family, baseball, travel, camping and other outdoor recreation.
Ryan is a proven thought leader in the areas of change management, strategic planning, team-building, personnel development, technology & information management, sports coaching, not-for-profit administration, and fundraising. Under his leadership, the teams he has worked with, both on and off the field, have undertaken significant innovations in technology, client value, fundraising and service towards others.
