Susie Kirk (Redman) is a Golf Instructor at The Woodlands Country Club. She is member of both the PGA of America and the LPGA. She was a multisport athlete in high school competing in golf, track/field, and diving. During High School, she began to excel at a national level in golf. She was the LPGA Female Player of the Year in 1984. Susie earned a golf scholarship to UCLA but decided to forgo college when she qualified for the LPGA Tour at 18 years of age. Susie had a long a successful career on the LPGA Tour where she competed in over 500 events worldwide in a career that spanned over 20 years. She was named Alabama Sports Woman of the Year in 1990 by the Mobile Press Register and inducted into the Mobile Sports Hall of Fame in 2011. She is the mother of 4 boys (John, Ben, Jesse and Jay). She has been recognized by US Kids, Positive Coaching Alliance and the Southern Texas PGA for her expertise in the area of coaching Junior Golf. She is actively involved in the promotion of girls/women in golf through her work for USGA/LPGA Girls Golf and is an advocate for Physical Literacy. She still competes on the LPGA Legends Tour and in 2018, she competed in the very first US Women's Senior Open at Chicago Golf  Club (T18).
