Ms. Selph, a native of Augusta, GA, earned her undergraduate degree from Berry College in Rome, GA, followed by a Master of Science from Florida State University. An accredited public relations professional, she brings extensive expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, media relations and crisis communications. In her role as Director of Digital Customer Experience, Communications, and Marketing at Tampa Electric, she leads the development and execution of an integrated strategy focused on educating customers about their electric service, available programs, electrical safety and other relevant topics.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Ms. Selph is deeply passionate about both sports and the arts. Her activities growing up included cheerleading, basketball, softball, tennis and rowing. Throughout her athletic journey, she was mentored by numerous influential coaches who instilled the values of resilience, teamwork and responsibility — qualities that continue to guide her in her career and community efforts. Ms. Selph is married with two daughters. She spends much of her spare time on the lacrosse field and is a passionate advocate for helping children build confidence, leadership skills and teamwork through sports. Watching her children grow as athletes and individuals has only strengthened her commitment to ensuring every child has access to enriching and empowering experiences.
