Joe Rush

Joe Rush serves as Director of Youth and High School Football for the Minnesota Vikings, where he leads initiatives that grow the game and positively impact kids and communities. Rooted in the belief that sports are a powerful platform for teaching life lessons, Rush has built programs that impact thousands of athletes, coaches, and communities across the region each year. His work champions the PCA’s mission by prioritizing leadership, inclusion, collaboration, and wholistic development. Originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Rush is a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he earned degrees in Journalism and Sport Management. He brings both local pride and a deep commitment to helping coaches and athletes learn the values of resilience, teamwork, empathy and integrity.
