Dr. Kevin Marks has over 20 years of experience as a tenured college professor, teaching courses in general psychology, sports psychology, and exercise physiology/biomechanics. Kevin has a master’s degree in psychology, a second master’s degree in Sports Science, and a Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in performance/sports psychology. Kevin coached college football for 15 years and currently works as a high-performance mental skills coach at the college level and high school level. Kevin also serves as the strength and conditioning coach for Solano College’s women’s soccer team.
As a trained performance/sports psychologist, the focus of his work is aimed at pursuing the intersection of high performance and well-being among athletes at all levels. Kevin is an Ironman Triathlete completing two Ironman triathlons and running multiple marathons, spartan races and cross fit competitions. Kevin is a former college football player, playing four years of college football, and a former four-sport athlete in high school playing baseball, basketball, track and field, and football in high school.
