PCA Trainers

Bob Hillman played four years of indoor volleyball at Stanford in the late 80s/early 90s – he and his team were national runners-up in 1992 and is still the #9 all-time kill leader for the sideout era. He was selected three times to participate in the Olympic Festival, briefly played on the AVP Beach Volleyball tour, and still competes in beach tournaments when his knees are healthy and there isn’t a global pandemic.

Bob has broad, deep experience in San Francisco youth sports, having coached baseball, basketball, flag football, and volleyball at various levels. His primary ongoing commitment has been to San Francisco Little League, where he managed the 2019 and 2021 12U and 2022 10U All-Star teams, serves on the All-Star Committee, and oversees the Majors division.

In the fall of 2022, Bob became the Varsity Girls Volleyball coach at San Francisco University High School.

Concurrently, Bob is a singer/songwriter, having released many albums and performed all over the US and Europe, including in prestigious venues such as the Fillmore Auditorium.
