Dr. Kevin Marks brings over 20 years of experience as a tenured college professor in Psychology and Kinesiology, with a teaching focus in general and clinical psychology, sport psychology, peak performance mental training, biomechanics, and exercise physiology. He holds dual master’s degrees in Psychology and Sport Science, and a Ph.D. in Psychology with a concentration in performance.
In addition to his academic role, Dr. Marks is a High-Performance Mental Skills Coach and trained qualitative researcher, with a research focus on the intersection of high performance and psychological well-being. He is a published, peer-reviewed author whose academic work examines the influence of mindfulness training on psychological well-being.
A former college football coach with 15 years of experience, Dr. Marks currently works with collegiate athletes on high performance mental skills training and serves as the strength and conditioning coach for Solano College’s women’s soccer team. He is also an Ironman triathlete, former college football player, and four-sport high school athlete.
