Originally from Bradenton, FL, Alec graduated high school in 2013 where he played lacrosse, basketball, and hockey. He went on to attend St. Leo University and was actively involved in intramural sports, the Athletics Department, and the Sport Business Association and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Sport Business.
After graduation, Alec began an internship with the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey Operations Department, which led to a part-time role with the Community and Hockey Development team and eventually a full-time position. He currently serves as the Ice Hockey Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Lightning, overseeing all of the organization’s co-ed ice hockey programs across eight rinks in the Tampa Bay area.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active by playing adult league hockey, softball, and pickleball—and spending time with his dog, Hemi.
