Peter played tennis at Stanford University and professionally overseas for two years. After his retirement as a competitive player, Peter became a teaching professional in Sunnyvale. In the mid ’90s he began a 20+ year career as a high school history and humanities teacher both domestically and abroad during which he coached cross-country, tennis, and golf. For eleven years, from 2000-2011, Peter was a very competitive elite amateur masters cyclist on local Bay Area teams, where he raced both domestically and in Europe. Peter currently competes as a scratch golfer in both USGA and NCGA events and is the 2023 Santa Cruz City Amateur champion. He is a senior trainer for PCA, and has facilitated over 400 workshops.
