Marti Love grew up in Long Beach, CA, where she was a three-sport athlete at Wilson High School, competing in softball, volleyball, and track & field. She went on to play softball at UCLA from 2008-2012, winning a National Championship in 2010 and earning recognition as UCLA’s 2012 Senior of the Year. She has coached and trained athletes at all levels and now serves as the Director of National Partnerships at Positive Coaching Alliance. Since joining PCA in 2014, she has played a pivotal role in growing the movement, launching the LA Chapter Leadership Council, implementing Pro Team partnerships, and spearheading PCA’s Sports Can Battle Racism initiative.  A highly regarded speaker and certified PCA trainer, Marti has been featured on CBS, ESPN Around the Horn, and ABC 7, using her platform to educate coaches and leaders on fostering positive, inclusive sports cultures. She has led workshops nationwide and spoken at events for organizations such as UCLA, the LEAP Conference, and the TMSP Leadership Conference with Magic Johnson.  Beyond her work at PCA, Marti is the author of Utility Player Life—How to Purposefully Leverage Your Experience as an Athlete to Take You Where You Want to Go in Life. She remains active in sports such as beach volleyball, yoga, and kickboxing.  Marti enjoys spending time with her family, and she and her husband Michael welcomed their first child, Marshall Adam Love, in April 2024.
