Webinar: “Empowering Youth Athletes: Building Resilience and Mental Health”

Dec 10, 2024 | 2:00 PM Eastern

Join Positive Coaching Alliance & Momentum Labs for a conversation with cognitive psychologist Scott Barry Kaufman.

Sports play a critical role in the sociocultural development of children in the U.S., with over 53% of youth ages 6-17 participating in organized sports. Given the number of youths involved in sports, there is an unprecedented opportunity to proactively develop psychological tools that help guard against mental health challenges. However, to harness this potential, parents, coaches, and other adults need guidance on cultivating environments that promote resilience, grit, hardiness, and optimism.

This webinar aims to unite experts in resilience training, psychological thriving, and mental health to provide youth sports parents and coaches with tools and strategies to nurture protective mental health traits in athletes.
