Featuring PCA’s workshop with NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell

Developing Competitors Through Positive Coaching

Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is proud to be highlighted in a recent episode of the franchise “Eli Manning Presents: The Undercovers” on Prime Video where one of our signature workshops was featured with NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell.

This workshop equips coaches, leaders, and organizations with practical tools to build athletes who are not only skilled, but resilient, confident, and driven.

  • Shifting the focus from winning alone to growth and development
  • Building stronger coach-athlete relationships
  • Creating positive, character-building experiences for youth athletes

PCA Trainer and Staff Member, Marti Love, on what the experience was like
They totally got me. I showed up ready to lead a meaningful workshop for coaches, focused on empathy and positive experiences, but it turned into a moment I’ll never forget. There was a “beginner” in the room asking questions and playing the part…who turned out to be a superstar in disguise. The best part? It was all real; the learning, the engagement, and my reaction.

At one point, I was genuinely worried about this “older coach” stepping onto the court. Seconds later, I was stunned watching him move like a pro, and that’s when we realized who he was. The gym was filled with pure joy, excitement, and disbelief. Doing what I love is already meaningful. This took it to another level; one of the most surreal, joyful moments of my career.
