Weatherford Capital Continues to Support Tampa Bay Double-Goal Coach® Award Winners

Positive Coaching Alliance – Tampa Bay, the local chapter of the national non-profit Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) has named its Local Double-Goal Coach Award Winners for 2025.

Congratulations to PCA – Tampa Bay’s local award winners who embody the Double-Goal Coach^® model of teaching athletes to strive to win while also pursuing the important goal of teaching life lessons and life skills through sports. Six winners were selected by PCA’s Local Awards Committee based on nominations and reference letters. The award includes $500, a certificate and recognition within the websites and social media outlets of PCA and opportunities to attend local events.

“Weatherford Capital believes in PCA – Tampa Bay’s mission and we are thankful to have them partnered with us in recognizing and rewarding local coaches who work smart and take their roles seriously.  The Weatherfords are successful leaders today because they had powerful coaches who made a positive impact on them,” said Mason Brady, Executive Director, PCA- Tampa Bay. 

“Our coaches taught us fundamental lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and commitment that guided us both on and off the field,” Weatherford said. He added, “PCA – Tampa Bay’s Coach Awards Program directly supports our community and the future of Tampa.”

PCA additionally named 30 Regional Finalists and 10 National Coach of the Year Winners from across the USA. Each of the 10 National Winners will receive $500 and be recognized nationally by PCA. Later this spring, one of the ten will be named “Coach of the Year” and will win $5,000 via sponsorship from TeamSnap.
