Michael Bergmann is a community-driven innovator, nonprofit leader, and product development strategist dedicated to unlocking potential in people and places. He is the founder of Move Oregon, LLC, an initiative focused on connecting communities through movement, health, and outdoor engagement, and the creator of the IncubatorU 5-Step Methodology—Imagine, Identify, Initiate, Implement, Integrate—a practical framework that empowers individuals and organizations to turn ideas into sustainable impact.
Throughout his career, Michael has led transformational projects across Oregon, including the development of community-based athletic facilities and programs that serve as catalysts for economic development, youth engagement, and public health. His work is grounded in the belief that innovation can come from anywhere and anyone, a philosophy captured in his book Innovation from the Ground Up.
Professionally, Michael held leadership roles in product development at Nike, where he drove performance innovation, including contributions to durable material solutions used in global markets.
Through his work with athletes, schools, and communities, Michael aligns closely with the mission of Positive Coaching Alliance—using sports as a platform to build character, resilience, and inclusive opportunity for all.
