PCA Trainers, Tampa Bay, PCA Staff
Jessica Perez was a 3-sport athlete at Tampa Catholic High School. As a multi-sport athlete at TC, Jessica was coached by some incredible coaches which resulted in several district and Regional championships including 3 trips to the State Finals. While Jessica grew up in the slow pitch softball era, she transitioned to fast pitch in college and received a scholarship to play for St. Thomas University in Miami. In addition to softball, she was recruited to play soccer for a year after never playing the sport competitively. Upon graduation, she worked as a Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director in Tampa. It was here that a love of coaching was born. Jessica coached at Gaither HS in Tampa for 7 years and helped the team to multiple district, regional and one state title. The 1996 6A State Championship Team also won the Tampa Sports Authority’s Amateur Team of the Year Award. Jessica has worked for the City of Tampa in a management role overseeing 150 staff as well as 40 plus facilities and parks. This love of sport continues with Jessica coaching and delivering camps to a wide range of athletes.
