Carlan Arthur

Carlan Arthur was born in a small village in Trinidad and Tobago and started running at the age of 15 for Morvant Jets Athletic Club. In the 2004 High School Track and Field season, Carlan blazed a trail of glory for Mucurapo Senior High, winning the 800m and 1500m events at the Zonal Championships. Carlan came to the US in the early 2000s and is now coaching young athletes at Vast Sports Performance where he is also the head distance coach. He also coaches youth soccer.
