Supporting mental wellness in youth & high school football: PCA and the Denver Broncos have partnered to strengthen mental wellness support within youth and high school football programs. Through this collaboration, PCA provides coaches with training to recognize mental health challenges, build positive relationships, and create supportive team environments.Between November 1, 2024, and December 1, 2025, PCA delivered 17 Mental Health and Wellness workshops across 11 partner districts and organizations. With support from the Broncos Foundation, the program trained 658 coaches and positively impacted 9,870 youth%u2014exceeding first-year goals.This partnership is helping improve the culture of youth sports in Colorado by ensuring more young athletes benefit from positive, developmentfocused experiences.SPOTLIGHT:PRO TEAM PARTNERSDENVER BRONCOSThis year, PCA launched a three-year partnership with New Jersey Devils and Devils Youth Foundation to expand access and equity for girls in youth sports across Newark, Jersey City, Paterson, Passaic, and Union City. With donor support, we are training women of color from these communities to serve as coaches and mentors%u2014ensuring girls not only play, but see themselves as leaders on and off the field.As part of Monumental Sports & Entertainment%u2019s District of Play initiative, PCA is proud to help create safe, equitable youth sports experiences across the D.C. area. With support from Monumental, PCA is training coaches, engaging families, and listening to community voices to ensure programming reflects the real needs of local youth. PCA has also partnered with D.C.
