PCA%u2013Tampa Bay hosted local leaders for a night of reflection on how sports are the classroom of life! Sherman Armstrong, a PCA Trainer, spoke on how he developed as a hurdler on the track and used those same skills to be successful in the classroom and as a small business owner. Coach Anthony Triana and Roderick Smith Jr. discussed the impact a great coach can make and Trey Starkey, our event chair, invited his high school coach, Steve Luikart. Trey said that even to this day, when he is approaching a difficult situation, he thinks, %u201cWhat did Coach teach me?%u201dThe event raised nearly $300,000 and PCA-Tampa Bay is looking forward to supporting more coaches and student-athletes so sports fulfill their potential and purpose - being the classroom of life!
