East Bay Coach Symposium

This free event is for coaches of all sports, levels, and all age groups. If you’re new to coaching or have years of experience, this event is for you! The East Bay Coach Symposium, presented in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, will bring together coaches, athletic directors, and community leaders from across the East Bay to strengthen the region’s youth sports ecosystem. Participants can expect:
- Interactive workshops led by Kaiser Permanente sports medicine physicians and PCA trainers, offering insights on athlete wellness, injury prevention, and fostering youth sports and character development through sport.
- Panel discussions featuring local leaders, practitioners, and medical experts advancing equity, safety, and performance in youth sports.
- Networking opportunities with coaches, mentors, and organizations committed to building access, inclusion, and opportunity through sport.
- Resource sharing to support coach development, recruitment, and retention across school-based and community programs.
This event is for coaches of all sports, levels, and all age groups.
Together, PCA and Kaiser Permanente are equipping coaches and community leaders with the knowledge and tools to create safe, inclusive, and positive environments for every young athlete to thrive.
