Andrew Bloom serves as the Social Impact and Youth Access Manager for the Seattle Kraken and One Roof Foundation. He joined the Kraken ahead of their inaugural season to help build the team’s youth access pillar from the ground up. Bloom leads initiatives that break down barriers to hockey, including introducing ball hockey in schools, building multisport courts, directing a refugee and immigrant learn to skate program, managing youth scholarships, and leading Kraken player and corporate partner impact initiatives.

A former collegiate sprinter at the University of Idaho, Bloom earned his master’s degree in movement science with an emphasis in sports psychology and began his career in coaching and youth sports development, including work with Upower, a Seattle nonprofit serving underserved youth in schools and juvenile detention centers. Bloom believes that every young person should have the chance to experience the benefits of sport, regardless of background, skill level, or financial means, and is committed to creating more accessible pathways for kids to play, grow, and thrive.
