The event also included a panel discussion and audience Q&A with Excellence in Leadership award recipient Joe Lacob and Triple-Impact Executive Craig Johnson, moderated by Warriors Assistant GM and PCA-SF Bay Area Board Member Kirk Lacob. The audience really enjoyed the playful banter and statements made in jest between Kirk and Joe.

Johnson was a member of Stanford’s first NCAA Championship tennis team. As the Chairman of Harvest Capital Strategies and Vice Chair of JMP Group, he has translated life lessons learned from his collegiate tennis success into incredible success in business. PCA proudly celebrated Craig as an example for the scholarship finalists in attendance.

The Sir Francis Drake and San Rafael High School boys JV Basketball teams were each on hand to receive this year’s Humanitarian Award. The plaques were presented by Robert Braunstein, host of Cal-Hi Sports Bay Area.

Also in attendance were seven of the eight PCA-SF Bay Area Double-Goal Coach® award winners (the coaching team of Bonnie Belshe and Denise Eachus, as well as Marisa Cozort, Kyle McIntyre, Tulin Mendoza, Eric Wilmurt and Carrie Zarraonandia).
