With a beautiful summer day as our backdrop, PCA Minnesota welcomed a field of business, sport and civic-minded leaders to historic Keller GC to play golf, compete and have fun all in the name of growing the positive coaching movement to more schools and sports-based organizations throughout the state.
Our inaugural Coach-Am Golf Classic was presented by GolfNow which was amazing in itself as players were treated to special one-of-a-kind gift bags and on-course prizes. Adding a bit of playfulness to the day were Crunch of the Minnesota Timberwolves, T.C. Bear of the Minnesota Twins, PK of Minnesota United, Viktor of the Minnesota Vikings and Nordy of the Minnesota Wild.
"We are proud and grateful for our amazing PCA teammates in Minnesota - our Board of Directors, generous sponsors, community partners, and professional sports teams who brought a caring community together to celebrate positive coaching and support for a positive, character-building youth sports experience for all kids," said PCA Regional Director Rob Dauphinais. "We had a wonderful inaugural event and look forward to getting a jump on planning next year."
Congratulations to our winning team from the Minnesota Wild who took first place honors and the coveted Minnesota Coach Jacket. An estimated $40,000 in financial and in-kind support was contributed in support of local programming.
