The MLB All-Star Game came to Washington, DC this July. The Midsummer Classic saw Bryce Harper win the home run derby in front of his home crowd and an All-Star game that showcased the power pitching and power hitting style of baseball that seems to be the future of the game.

PCA Mid-Atlantic also had its eye on the future of baseball. Over the course of five days, PCA was part of the All-Star festivities at MLB's PLAYBALL Park, where kids from all over the country came to have fun playing baseball. PCA staff was on the field helping to make positive experiences for the kids and also talking with parents about how their kids can get the most from their youth baseball experience.
