Idaho Youth Soccer Association and the Portland Timbers partnered with the Positive Coaching Alliance for the first ever HONOR THE GAME® Virtual Weekend! This will take place online September 19th - 20th, 2020.

Honor the Game is best stated by PCA founder Jim Thompson, “Many people talk a good game regarding sportsmanship, but the test is how one acts when it feels like something important is at stake.”

If you are an Idaho Youth Soccer player, or a parent of a player, we ask to post a photo in your soccer jersey and write a small note explaining how you Honor the Game using PCA’s ROOTS of the game. The ROOTS of the game showcase respect for the Rules, Opponents, Officials, Teammates and Self.

Although we are staying inside and not playing soccer, we are all in this together! We hope to celebrate how impactful playing sports the right way can be.
