Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is thrilled to partner with the New York Red Bulls Academy on its Sports Can Battle Racism initiative.

As part of this partnership, Positive Coaching Alliance will deliver five Sports Can Battle Racism workshops for all youth academy coaches and managers with added collaboration throughout the year. 

In the workshop experience, coaches will have an interactive discussion on how to combat racial discrimination, champion moral courage and empower their programs to create positive change in their communities. PCA explores historical displays of leadership, like that of Jackie Robinson, to create a more equitable environment in youth sports.

It is a key initiative for us to ensure our environments are inclusive for all players and we know the ‘Sports Can Battle Racism’ workshop will provide another layer of training and education for our 200 youth coaches and management staff," said Abigail Katz, Red Bull’s Senior Manager of Youth Coaches.

The New York Red Bulls Academy joins the Miami Marlins, San Antonio Spurs, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Cavaliers and LA Galaxy as professional teams who have invested in this professional development for coaches.
