Success stories
The LA Galaxy funds PCA workshops in the local community and through this partnership, PCA was able to facilitate three virtual workshops for the Red Shield Salvation Army. Many of the kids they work with are from communities that don't have the resources at home for the most productive distance learning experience. During the pandemic, the Red Shield Salvation Army has been instrumental in continuing the necessary work needed during these hard times.
"Throughout the Pandemic, the Red Shield Salvation Army has been instrumental in providing resources and a safe place for kids to engage in their distance learning education. The staff has been stayed so positive and have been so phenomenal to work with over the last 6 months!"- Kayla Landes-Brenman, PCA Program Manager
"Thank you tremendously for coordinating us with that amazing work shop! I am working on the evaluation now, but would like to share that they both Amber and Aaron did a phenomenal job!! Our staff had nothing but great things to share." - Francisco Medina, Director of the Salvation Army California South Division
