Tell us a story about an extraordinary achievement you've had in sports.

I had the opportunity to be a member of the first women's softball team at GCU (2003-2007). In the school's first game ever and in my first collegiate at-bat, I hit my first career home run, and GCU's first home run ever. An honor to be in their record books forever. My time on the field at GCU prepared me for all things after college: work, adulting, marriage, and kids. I learned time management, perseverance, growth mindset, goal setting, and more.

Nicole comes to PCA with experience as an athlete, coach & parent - understanding the importance of PCA's "Better Athletes, Better People" from all avenues. Originally from Southern California, Nic came out to Arizona to play softball at Grand Canyon University as a part of their inaugural team in 2003, competing all four years behind the plate. After graduation, she went on to teach elementary school & special education while coaching middle school softball & giving private lessons.
