A die-hard Celtics fan from Taiwan and now a Boston College student, Paul-Yung (“Moses”) Hsiao saw a post on the Celtics’ Instagram about an opportunity to meet Brad Stevens and Steve Kerr, sit behind the Warriors bench, and have his picture taken center court before the November 16th Warriors/Celtics game. “That’s a no-brainer,” said Hsiao who happily donated $25 to PCA for a chance to win this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. When he learned he had won, Hsiao invited his high school classmate, Brendan Kuang, a Boston University student to join him. At the pregame reception and coach conversation, not only did Hsiao hear from Brad Stevens and Steve Kerr, Hsiao also met a Boston College legend, former NFL quarterback now ESPN analyst Matt Hasselbeck. Hsiao’s post-game reaction:
Wow, I am so glad I made that donation—it was an incredible evening from start to finish with the Celtics’ win. After hearing the coaches, I understand why Brad Stevens and Steve Kerr support Positive Coaching Alliance. Kids should have fun playing sports!
