2022 Regional Double-Goal Coach Award Winners Announced

We are incredibly thankful for coaches who continue to pivot due to COVID to keep kids engaged, motivated, mentally healthy, and physically fit. The impact a positive coach can have on our youth should not be underestimated, particularly in times of challenge and struggle.

Please join us in recognizing and celebrating the 2022 Regional Winners of PCA’s Double-Goal Coach® Award presented by TeamSnap. A few additional coaches are still to be named pending the completion of background checks processing. We will update this page and the coach/nominator as soon as they are added. Thanks for your patience.

These coaches, listed alphabetically in the link below, were selected from hundreds of nominated coaches who received over 1,000 letters of reference. CONGRATULATIONS!

In the coming weeks, our selection committee will identify 25 National Winners who will each receive $500, a certificate from PCA, and recognition on PCA's website, newsletters, and media campaigns.

Thanks to the generosity of the Taube Family Foundation, one special coach will win the Taube Family Prize in Recognition of Excellence in Coaching and be named PCA’s National Coach of the Year. This prize, to be awarded later in the Spring, will include $10,000 ($2,500 to the coach and $7,500 to the youth sports organization or school of their choice).

All Regional Winners will receive access to take PCA’s online coach course for FREE. ($30 value) We'll be in touch with them after this announcement to provide their code for free access. If you’re interested in taking one of PCA's online courses, please click this link.

Thanks to all nominated coaches for their time and commitment to student-athletes across the US! If your coach was not named a Regional Winner this year, we encourage you to nominate them again next year. You can sign up here for a reminder to nominate them in August, 2022.
