Jake Wald

Vice President, East Territory

Jake joined PCA in 2012 and currently serves as the Executive Director for the PCA-Mid-Atlantic Chapter. With overall responsibility for the success of PCA-Mid-Atlantic, Jake works with the PCA-Mid-Atlantic Board to develop, implement and evaluate a long-term strategy for the chapter. He represents PCA in the local community by developing relationships with business, philanthropic, academic and government leaders. In addition, Jake is responsible for raising sufficient funds annually for PCA-Mid-Atlantic to thrive. In 2020, Jake committed to also running point for PCA-New York City.

Before being drafted by the San Francisco Giants, Jake was a student-athlete at George Washington University, earning a B.A. in Psychology. During his nine-year pro baseball career, Jake played at every level of the Giants' minor league system and finished his career with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2010. Upon his retirement from playing, Jake returned to college baseball as a coach, first at his alma mater, GWU, and then at Georgetown University.
