Jon Torine strives daily to coach others so that they may grow into the best version of themselves. Jon’s participation in sports began in youth and recreation leagues in his home state of New Jersey. He played football at Livingston High School and then had a very short playing career at Springfield College in Massachusetts where he earned a degree in Health / Fitness. In 1995 Jon was hired by the Buffalo Bills to serve as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. In 1998 through 2011 he was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Indianapolis Colts, highlighted in 2006 with a World Championship in Super Bowl XLI. After 17 seasons coaching in the NFL, Jon served as the Performance Manager for Pro/Elite Sports at EXOS, formerly Athletes Performance. In this role his primary focus was with the newly formed NFL Players Association Trust Program. The mission of that program is to help former NFL players achieve their personal and professional goals. Jon currently serves his mission with Functional Movement Systems, where he delivers education and programming in sports performance, physical education and health and safety.
