"Every player he’s coached sees him as a coach and also as counselor or dad, or uncle, or friend, or whomever that child is missing in her life when an open ear and heart are needed. Coach makes a genuine effort to really connect with each player and their family on a personal level. Not only does he guide these young ladies through the beautiful game of soccer, but also through the tough journey through life. During the Covid he even offered free training for the girls over the months just so they would have a human connection and the ability to keep their bodies moving in the stressful lock down. His motivational speeches during halftime remind his athletes that it is not a matter of winning or losing, but having fun and knowing they tried their absolute best."
