Mike TeSelle, an Emmy award-winning news reporter with KCRA3-TV, has been involved with youth sports since the time he was old enough to walk. As a former baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis and racquetball player, he has a deep understanding and respect for the desire to win, while also doing so in a way that demonstrates sportsmanship. He is a former Competitive youth soccer coach who now holds a U.S. Soccer Referee license. He is active in refereeing all levels of competitive soccer from U8 up to and including college club and adult amateur contests. He also sees the challenges of creating a positive athletic environment as he has two children who play soccer competitively.
