Director of Operations, Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic, SoFi Hawai‘i Bowl

Tamarah Tabor in her role as the Director of Operations for the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic and SoFi Hawai‘iBowl manages all aspects of both events. She joined the ESPN Events team as an Event Coordinator in 2008 for the Hawai‘i  Bowl and was promoted to her current role in 2014.

In addition to her Hawai‘i based duties, Tamarah manages the Armed Forces Classic, a collegiate basketball event centered around ESPNʻs America’s Heroes: A Salute to Our Veterans initiativeThe games are staged on military bases around the world, from Ramstein, Germany to Anchorage, Alaska and shown during ESPN’s Veterans Week in November.

Since her start, Tamarah has assisted non-profit organizations supporting Hawai‘i’s youth. She has been a Charity Angel for the Hawai‘i Bowl Foundation since 2009 and in 2018 was elected to the Hawai‘i Bowl Foundationʻs board of directors. In her role, she oversees the fundraising efforts for the 501c3 which assist Hawai‘i-based non-profit organizations centered around providing services to Hawai‘i's youth.

Tamarah also serves on the Polynesian Football Hall of Fames Steering Committee and has since its inaugural year. The non-profit organization supports educational programs focusing on character and teamwork for youth within the Polynesian community. Additionally, they provide college scholarships designated for student-athletes of Polynesian ancestry.

Tamarah attended the University of Hawai‘i, Manoa where she earned her B.S. in Communication.
