Ryan Carter is currently working with the Minnesota Wild in a variety of roles and also is an Analyst for Fox Sports North’s coverage of the Minnesota Wild. Before that, Ryan played in the NHL for 9 seasons with Anaheim, Carolina, Florida, New Jersey and the Wild. He won a Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007.

He received the New Jersey Devils “Player’s Player Award” from his teammates following the 2013-14 NHL campaign. The 6-foot-1 center played in 473 regular-season games and 46 playoff games in the NHL, logging 48 goals and 57 assists total, while suiting up with the Anaheim Ducks, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, New Jersey Devils, and finally capping his career skating with his home-state team, for whom he played 113 games, contributing 10 goals and 15 assists, in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons..

He played collegiate hockey for Minnesota State University Mankato and played in the USHL for Green Bay. Ryan played his high school hockey at White Bear Lake where he helped them reach the State Hockey Tournament in 2001 and was a Mr. Hockey Finalist in 2002. He also represented the United States in the Ice Hockey World Championships in 2010 and 2013.

Carter and wife Erin reside in the Twin Cities and have three daughters.
