Kevin M. Rabbitt is chief executive officer of NEP Group, the leading provider of total technical solutions serving the broadcast and live events industries. With operations across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, NEP serves as the technical partner to premiere content producers for live sports, unscripted entertainment and award shows, concert tours, music festivals, and corporate events. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Rabbitt joined NEP in 2012.
Prior to NEP, Rabbitt served as chief executive officer of 3 Day Blinds, a leading manufacturer and retailer of custom window coverings, headquartered in Irvine, California. Prior to that, Rabbitt was chief executive officer of Global Experience Specialists, a face-to-face marketing and event services company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rabbitt has also worked as a consultant with Bain and Company.
Rabbitt also has a long history in sports. Professional roles have included president of Texas Ice Stadium, a youth-oriented entertainment facility in Houston, Texas as well as the Houston Rockets Basketball Organization, where he oversaw the organization’s Arena Football Team. Additionally, Rabbitt served as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
Rabbitt holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Studies from Rice University. While at Rice, Rabbitt was captain and point guard for the Men’s Basketball team which competed in the Southwest Conference.
A native of Overland Park, Kansas, Rabbitt is an avid Kansas City sports fan, including the Royals, Chiefs, and Jayhawks. He also supports various college basketball programs including the Rice Owls, Robert Morris Colonials, UT San Antonio Road Runners, Pitt Panthers, and Henderson State Reddies.
Rabbitt enjoys spending time with his wife Emily and their four children. He is passionate about youth sports and a regular basketball and soccer coach for his children.
