Billy Pieper is a graduate of the Kamehameha Schools where he played both football and baseball. He went on to UCLA on a football scholarship where he captained the team and they were 2 time Pac-10 Champions. He also walked on to the baseball team at UCLA where they went to the 1997 College World Series. Billy went on to play baseball professionally for the Kansas City Royals Organization. Billy eventually returned home and immediately got involved Hawaii youth sports. He was a coach for the Varsity Baseball team at Kamehameha for 10 years where they won 3 ILH championships and one state championship. He currently coaches Varsity Baseball at St. Louis School and Varsity Football at Castle High School. Billy has 3 kids (ages 9, 11, and 14) who are also quite active in sports. He is currently the Vice President for Barclays overseeing the Hawaiian Airlines Credit Card Program. Billy is an active community member and is on the boards of Bishop Museum, Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii, and Positive Coaching Alliance.
