Kim O'Shea

Outreach & Research Coordinator

Our Staff, Trainers - Colorado

Kim O'Shea, hired by PCA in 2021, assists the Partnership Managers (PCA's sales team) with researching new organizations and schools, as well as researching new contacts for organizations and schools that we already have in Salesforce. She also assists with the initial step in the sales process – email outreach.

Kim, also a PCA trainer, started swimming at age 8, played volleyball in junior high, and did shot put and discus on the track team through high school.  As a walk-on to Indiana University’s swim team, Kim was voted team captain in both her junior and senior years. Post-college, she taught elementary school before coaching took over full-time. Her coaching career covered the gamut from age groupers with the Carmel Swim Club in Indiana to the collegiate team and masters’ swimmers while she was the Women’s Assistant Coach at the University of Tennessee. After 12 years in the Sport Development division at USA Swimming and a brief stint as the Safe Sport Coordinator for USA Fencing, Kim is now an independent consultant working with coaches and club board members on governance and building a positive team culture. In their free time, Kim and her husband Dave enjoy an occasional round of trap shooting and marksmanship events.
