Adam Norse

Program Director, Downtown United Soccer Club

Trainer - New York City

Adam Norse is the current Program Director for Downtown United Soccer Club (DUSC) in lower Manhattan, New York City. Despite the daily challenge of field space (!), Adam focuses on ensuring DUSC offers a positive soccer experience to all its players aged 4-18 regardless of skill level, financial background or ethnicity. Central to creating a positive soccer environment, Adam places a huge emphasis on character, growth & leadership development, looking to constantly inspire players to maximize their potential both on & off the field. Adam created the club’s character curriculum “I am DUSC” in 2015 and has overseen the delivery of this across both the club’s recreation, camps and academy programs. In addition to player education, Adam also plays a key role in educating parents on what it takes to be a “soccer parent” in the evolving landscape of youth soccer.
