“My favorite sports memory would definitely be qualifying for Olympic Trials in the 50m freestyle August 2019. That was my 1st championship meet with my new club team. Going into that meet, I was just expecting to have fun and gain experience racing in such a competitive environment. Making Olympic Trials has been a goal of mine for years so when I finally made it, I felt like I was on cloud 9! The best part about the experience was that 2 of my teammates qualified for Olympic Trials, as well. Being able to celebrate such a surreal moment with my teammates who had also worked so hard made this memory one I will cherish forever. Qualifying for the meet taught me to never give up on my dreams and to always work hard.”
